Theodore Roosevelt ran as candidate under the Bull Moose Party during the 1912 presidential election. The campaign was as colorful and inventive as campaigns are today, with altered images of TR in the company of a moose on a number of occasions. Theodore Roosevelt did not truly ride a moose, but this image of him doing so lives on with his legend in a fun and creative way appreciated by TR fans.
